Tailgate with Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9960 for the Army vs. Navy Game* on Saturday, December 14, 2024** at our Post home in Cedar Point, NC.  Celebrate this historic rivalry while supporting the VFW’s mission to empower veterans and families of our community.

Festivities start at 10 AM 246 VFW Rd, Cedar Point, NC 28584 and run throughout the game, which will be televised throughout the building.

Tickets are $25.00 per person or $45.00

Admission fee includes:

• Free tailgate food
• 5 tickets to judge the tailgate cooking contest,
• 1 ticket for free drink (beer, wine, soft drink)***
• 1 ticket for door prize
• Participation in games

PLUS vendor experiences and raffles. Tickets are limited and non-refundable.

Due to demand and limited capacity, same-day ticket sales cannot be guaranteed.

The Veterans Corn Hole Challenge!

Veterans and active duty groups are encouraged to form a Corn Hole team to participate in our Veterans Corn Hole Challenge.  The first and second teams will be provided with special prizes and the right to talk trash.

Participants are also invited to participate in the Tailgate Throw Down competition.  Any tailgate food is acceptable.

Outdoor cooking area will be provided.  You will need to provide all cooking equipment.  Attendees of the tailgate party will be provided with 5 tickets which they will use to judge their favorite entries.

Entry Fee is $10.00 cash. Cash Prizes for 1st and 2d Place.

*The VFW Tailgate party has no affiliation with the Army vs. Navy game.

**This event will take place rain or shine.

***Adult 21+ ticket holders must be 21+ and present valid ID upon entry. Beer and Wine will be available at our cash bar. No Alcohol may be from outside. All alcohol must be purchased from the Post canteen.
